There's not much I can say about this that this article doesn't cover, so I'm just going to say this: if you're a crafter, or are appreciative of fine craft, or art, it behooves you to read this. Basically, the NASA spacesuits were not machine made, but hand sewed, which, given my recent and somewhat infuriating foray into hand sewing, is absolutely astonishing.
